Xbox

The Xbox was created by Microsoft in 2001. This was done after Microsoft had failed to partner with a major game software developer. Xbox would go on to become a major player in the console industry. However most of its player base is located in North America. Xbox would see the height of its success in the Xbox 360 in which for several years it led the industry in sales.

Xbox has several main flagship series. These series cover a spectrum of games. Halo, Gears of War, and Forza are the biggest series however Halo is much bigger than the other two. Unlike other console manufacturers, Xbox games are often released on PCs because Microsoft also makes computers. This gives some Xbox games a wider audience than most other console exclusives.
