#5CJ McCollum

For the 5th best shooting guard I put CJ McCollum. He realy broke out and got his name out there in the 2015-2016 season when he averaged 20 points per game for the first time in his career. Then for the 2016-2017 season he becomes even better and makes his name be in this list. He averaged 23 points while becoming the 9th player to be a member of the 50-40-90 club where he barly missed shooting 48 percent from the field, 42 percent from the three and 91 percent from the free through line. He also took his team to the Western confrence playoffs. I put him on the 5th spot because he isnt really much of a defender, because guys would blow past him and score. It will be interesting to see what the 26 year old has in store for the rest of his career and maybe becoming the top in the shooting guard catagory.

#4DeMar DeRozan

The 3rd best shooting guard in the NBA in my opionin is DeMar DeRozan. He is a very good shooter when he drives to the rim but he isnt that well of a shooter from the 3 point line. He is a well below average three point shooter. He can create open shots when he wants to. Last year he averaged 27.3 points per game and also averaged a career high 5.2 rebounds per game. He was on a misson and led his team to the forth consecutive playoff birth. But the from the free throw line he shot a terible 27 percent which why I kept him at number 4.

#3 Klay Thompson

For the number 3 spot I put Klay Thompson from the Goldan State Warriors. Klay isnt overlooked, he is, however, most definitely underappreciated. Other All-Stars in the heart of their prime wouldn't accept, let alone embrace, the concessions he has, by all appearances, welcomed with bemused facial expressions and tireless off-ball work. Klay averaged 22.3 points per game along with 3.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists while shooting 46.8 percent

#2 Jimmy Butler

For the number 2 spot I chose Jimmy Butler from the Timberwolves. When jimmy got traded to the timberwolves people wondered what he would play, the timberwolves didnt have the personal to keep butler in there frontcourt so here we are calling him shooting guard. He averaged 23.9 points per game along with 6.2 rebounds per game and 5.5 assists per game and shot 45.5 percent from the field.

#1James Harden

For the number one shooting guard in the NBA I chose James Harden from the Housten Rockets. James averaged 29.1 points per game along with 8.1 rebounds and 11.2 assists per game. I mean with those stats he has to be number 1 he played this well against the best in the world and I believe he is the best shooting guard in the world in my opionion
