The Lady Hornets softball team has been busy these past couple of weeks. On April 8 they defeated Dixie 9-0, with Nikki Tolson throwing 8 strikeouts and no walks. On April 9, they lost to Madison (12-0). The team won again on April 10 in their game against Wilmington, 13-0, also with Nikki Tolson pitching. Lauren Turner earned two runs for the team, and Tamara Davis had 3 RBIs.

They lost their doubleheaders against Edgewood on April 12. The score for game 1 was 3-0 and the
score for game 2 was 7-6. They lost to Preble Shawnee as well on April 14, 2-1. This past Saturday, April 19, the Lady Hornets defeated Franklin 7-5 with Laura Cain, Tamara Davis, and Emily Minotto all scoring doubles. On Monday, April 21, they played Madison, losing 6- 1. The Lady Hornets’ overall record is 5-6, and 2-4 for the SWBL.
